About Me

Leo Dean is a Sydney-based artist and animator, driven by a lifelong passion for illustration and storytelling. His multidisciplinary practice spans traditional and digital processes, with a focus on concept art, character design and comics.

He is particularly inspired by visual and musical works that create a strong sense of emotion and story, often looking into the realms of science fiction, fantasy and history for inspiration, as well as seeking moments of interest and emotion in the world around him.

 

Trained in concept art, he enjoys creating works that provide glimpses into richly imagined worlds, inspiring a sense of curiosity and intrigue in audiences.

As an emerging creative professional, Leo intends to bring this love of artistic storytelling into the future of the animation industry, as well as into his personal projects.

Leo is currently studying the Bachelor of Animation Production at the University of Technology Sydney.
